About Mukwa Film Studios

About The Facility:

Mukwa Film Studios is a 30,000 square foot studio facility that boasts multiple standing sets that can be used “as is” or easily adapted/converted for different uses. There is also a 5,000 square foot area for new builds.

The roof is insulated and has excellent acoustics allowing for on-set sound capture. The studio has trusses and is cabled throughout making lighting convenient and quick.

All the standing sets are supported by a huge inventory of set-dressing and props. As well there is a large inventory of contemporary wardrobe and footwear including paramedic and police uniforms.

We offer a location package as well as support equipment.

Sitting at the Eastern edge of Nipissing First Nation, Mukwa Film Studios is:

  • 15 minutes from a host of rural or urban areas

  • 2 minutes from the Duchesnay Falls forested area, a rugged yet accessible wilderness area with hiking trails

Parking

There are 50 parking spots for crew vehicles. There is a designated lot for basecamp and multiple parking spots for support vehicles.
