Mukwa – The Accidental Studio
In 2021 we were set to open one of the finest grow-op facilities in Northern Ontario – but then, COVID. Delays in getting specialized equipment and an inability to train personnel meant that we had a state of the art, and very empty, 30,000 square foot building.
Cue destiny stage left.
A film production came looking for a big empty space that they could build sets in. At the time it seemed like a good short term option until we could get back on track. But then, another production came – this time bigger and longer and then another, culminating in the Paramount series Skymed taking up residency for 3 full seasons.
Our happy accident is now the best studio facility in Northern Ontario with standing sets to suit a host of production needs. An ideal place to film your next project.
